Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach is the mainland port for the Whitsundays. All facilities are in Airlie Beach or Cannonvale including banks, major supermarket, chemists, accommodation houses, restaurants and bottle shops.

There is no accommodation close enough to the marina that you would be able to stay at and carry your luggage down to on your day of departure.

All facilities are close by (within a 5 km radius). Proserpine Airport is 45 kms away. Shute Harbour is 15 kms away. Easiest method of travel around Airlie Beach is by car or taxi.

Abel Point Marina

Abel Point Marina is the mainland port for the Whitsundays. Situated in Airlie Beach the Marina offers car parking, toilet and laundry facilities, bottleshop and a kiosk. It is located about 2 kilometres north of the heart of the Airlie Beach shopping strip. There is a lovely boardwalk to stroll around to Airlie - it takes 10-15 minutes to walk into town from the marina. Abel Point Marina is the base for Cumberland Charter Yachts.
